RedWave Energy

RedWave (no longer active) provided solid-state conversion of low-quality industrial waste heat to electricity. They developed a system based on nano-antenna technology to allow people to harvest infrared energy, which is currently dissipated as waste heat, into renewable energy. Their solution offered efficiency for a big contributor to climate change: that more than half of energy generated globally is lost as waste heat.
