Senior Associate, Impact
As Impact Senior Associate, Emily conducts GHG impact assessments for climate solutions using rigorous technical models. She is passionate about using holistic technical thinking to advance equitable climate solutions. Emily believes in the power of steering capital to climate technologies centered around positive human and environmental impact.
Before joining Prime, Emily served as a Research Fellow for Rho Impact, conducting emission reduction potential assessments. She has worked in both justice-oriented and technical positions, serving as an AmeriCorps member working with the houseless population in Oregon and working as a chemist in the coatings industry. She holds a PhD in sustainable polymer chemistry from the University of Minnesota, where her dissertation focused on renewably-derived materials designed with end-of-life considerations and a certificate from the University of Washington on Green Chemistry and Chemical Stewardship.
