Lee supports the sourcing and diligence of climate solutions that are ready for initial commercial activity and/or that require additional support to scale. She seeks to build investment strategies that enable investor additionality alongside enterprise additionality (i.e., in the absence of the investment the portfolio company is unlikely to receive similar financing and therefore unlikely to grow as quickly).
Lee believes in the potential of impact investing to enable innovation for a more sustainable and equitable society. Her past work includes impact measurement, oversight of a mission-driven accelerator, and field research with smallholder farmers. Lee was a senior associate with TPG’s impact measurement team—Y Analytics, program director for the FoodFutureCo accelerator, and a Fulbright Scholar in Malawi. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School, her MS in Agriculture, Food, and the Environment from Tufts, and her BA from the University of Oklahoma.
