Michael Solomentsev
Impact Fellow, Prime Coalition
Michael is a Ph.D. Student at the University of Texas at Austin studying power electronics. His projects focus on the development of high frequency magnetic components. Michael initially joined Prime as a summer fellow in 2018 and has stayed on in a consultant role. He is involved in Prime’s efforts to assess the climate impact of potential investments, including conducting emissions reduction potential analyses.
Michael loves digging into interesting problems and learning about all the innovative technologies being developed by Prime’s portfolio companies and has found it incredibly exciting and rewarding to be working in service of combating climate change.
